Vacancy Details

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support tasks, including screening, answering phones, receiving visitors, preparing meeting and training rooms, sorting and distributing mail.

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support tasks, including screening, answering phones, receiving visitors, preparing meeting and training rooms, sorting and distributing mail, and making travel plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric/Grade 12 or Equivalent is essential
  • At least 1-2 years experience as a Receptionist
  • Clear Credit and Criminal record
  • Good command of the English language with a neutral accent
  • Computer literate
  • Good telephone etiq1uette
  • Professional conduct at all times

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • To manage the switchboard professionally and in accordance with company standards
  • Receiving all incoming calls and distributing them to the appropriate extensions
  • Message taking
  • General administration duties, e.g. photocopying, filing and other duties assigned
  • Ordering stationery
  • Receiving and welcoming visitors
  • Temperature Screening of all employees and ensuring covid protocol is maintained

Setting appointments

  • Ensure the receptionist area is neat and tidy at all times
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize key responsibilities
  • Good time management skills
  • Competent in MS Office
