Manage a fleet of 13 vehicles.

Control diesel usage and monitor daily.

Control tyre usage and replacement.

Control department overtime.

Vehicles break down control.

Manage service providers. (Diesel, tyres, etc)

In charge of the daily operations of the transport department.

Manage a team of drivers and assistants.

Responsible for all of the tracking of delivery vehicles on Trackmatic system.

Manage, monitor and develop a team of drivers and van assistants

Ensure that all vehicles are well maintained and serviced and organise vehicle checks

Ensure all site and customer objectives are achieved.

Food safety requirements to be implemented and controlled as per vehicle checklists.

Manage Overtime of Warehouse Staff

Required Skills

bookkeeping : 1 to 2 years

logistics management

transport management

dispatching : 1 to 2 years

team co-ordination : 1 to 2 years
Candidate Requirements
Matric certificate
Certificate or Diploma in Logistics/Transport Management would be advantageous
Experience in Transport industry
At least one-year experience as a team coordinator and work related with scheduling, dispatching, and bookkeeping activities
Requirements
No criminal record
Valid Drivers license
Fully Vaccinated
