Our client is currently looking for Security Operations Manager Cape Town to join the team.

Duties of the Job ;

Must have matric
Must have diploma Security / Police / Corrections Management- 3 year recognised institution o Higher Diploma will be advantages #
PSIRA Registration Grade A – valid certificate
Valid SAPS Firearm Competency certificate
Valid Driver’s licence – Code B (vehicle restriction = 0
Port Facility Security Personnel (Maritime Security) Course
Security Management Advisor Certificate from the South African National Academy of Intelligence (SANAI) # Code A
motorbike licence

Knowledge and Skills

Must have knowledge of Security Management Philosophy
Must have knowledge of TNPA business processes, policies, procedures and standards
Must have knowledge of Customs, Immigration and Border Police Procedures.
Basic knowledge of investigation procedures and methods.
Must have knowledge of Occupation, Health and safety – OSH Act.
Basic Computer literacy # Knowledge of ship and port operations and conditions
Must have knowledge of Hazardous substances, IMCO labels – Basic Hazchem
Knowledge of law of Security Officers (Criminal procedure act)
Detail Knowledge of all Security procedures.
Must have knowledge of cargo flow and documentation
Must have knowledge of Harbour Regulations – commercial Port’s policy.
Must have knowledge of performance management # Knowledge of IMO Safety and security Regulations. # Knowledge of security
